I’ll Have a Halloween Party Every Year
When I decide to throw a party, I don’t take any shortcuts. I guess that is one of the reasons why everyone who is invited to my parties usually end up showing up. Last Halloween was probably my best party ever. I had decided to have a costume party. No one was allowed in unless they were dressed up, and we had such fun with that. I had the inside of my house decorated with all kinds of things like hanging skeletons, black and orange balloons and tables of food. I had Halloween Tablecloths on all the tables and they were really nice ones. One had black cats all over it while another was all about witches. My favorite though was the one that had the pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns on it. I received as many compliments on my Halloween Tablecloths as I did on everything else! We all had such a great time and I think I am going to do that every year now.
L Shaped Desk- Ignore Transportation Costs at Your Own Peril
It is important to consider the cost of transporting the l shaped desk from the store to your office when calculating the budget for the desk. To go in for a $1000 desk that is available at a significant discount and to spend another $500 on transportation does not make sense.
In such a scenario, it makes sense to purchase an $1100 desk that is available with zero extra shipping costs. One advantage of focus on transportation costs is you can check whether the L shaped desk will be delivered right to your doorstep or not.
If not, then you would also have to consider the cost of employing labor to shift the desk from the store to your home. These small things but will have a huge impact on the overall cost of the desk. Ignore these and you may end up regretting the fact that you have decided to go in for the specific L shaped desk.
Granite is the Hottest Thing in Countertops
If you are looking to remodel your kitchen to improve resale value or just rev up your kitchen or bathroom’s aesthetics, granite is the most desirable and trendiest option available. When someone walks into your home and sees granite countertops they will admire your class and sophistication for picking such a wonderful material in your home.
Natural granite comes in an amazing assortment of colors that will complement or highlight the neutral or bright colors on your walls and cabinets. Whether your style is contemporary or traditional, natural stone will work for you. Each granite countertop is unique, so no one will ever have the same pattern as you. It is efficient and practical too, since you can take a pot straight from the stove or a dish from the oven and place it right on the countertop without needing a pot holder or trivet. You can even use your countertop as a cutting board since it is so hard and durable-only diamonds and quartz are harder, and you don’t have to worry about germs since granite is sanitary and doesn’t harbor bacteria like other countertops. Granite is cool to the touch so you can prepare baked goods or candies on it without worry. You can even put it in your outside kitchen since the elements won’t affect it, and the way it looks in the sunlight will make it look like a piece of art. Granite is the smart choice for any countertop in or outside your home.
Making House Plans is My Hobby
No, I am not an architect nor an engineer. I am only making house plans as a hobby.
Ever since I had a leg amputated after I met an accident, I spent most of my time inside the house. I couldn’t go to the places I wanted to go to. I could only think about the travels I once planned to make. I could only imagine the houses in various places I could have seen. You see, I have this fascination for houses, particularly old ones. When I was young, I would draw the houses I like in my notebook. As I grew older, I was able to add details to my drawings and I started to make a house plan for each of the houses I drew.
Ever since I was confined to the four corners of our house, I let my imagination and creativity run free. I searched for the photos of the traditional houses in the countries I wanted to go to and I would make my very own design and interpretation of those houses. In fact, I already have quite a collection of house plans. Lately, I was able to make a couple of 3D house plans with the help of a tutorial I found online.
Dorm Room Bedding on the Flip Side
Based on my experience, it is best to buy reversible dorm room bedding when you go off to college. Let me explain. To keep your Dorm Room Bedding in pristine condition, it is necessary to flip your comforter every month or so. If you don’t flip your Dorm Room Bedding every once in a while you will begin to create a lopsided comforter that looks strange when you make your bed. This happens because you do everything on your bed in college.
You study, you eat, you entertain, and you sleep, all on that one twin bed. Your comforter will change and become fluffy on one side and flat on the other. Even when you wash and machine-dry your Dorm Room Bedding, it won’t be quite the same. Your Dorm Room Bedding will look best if you ware it down evenly on both sides. Reversible Dorm Room Bedding will make it very easy to switch up your look and maintain the condition of your comforter. Dormify.com can help you with all of your Dorm Room Bedding needs. Good luck.

Decorating a Home in 2012
As the year comes to a close, some are already looking forward to what home decorating trends we can expect to see in the year 2012. Many are predicting that 2012 will be full of warm, earth rich woods and the creative use of colors. Also topping the list of predictions will be the use of textures and large murals to customize and liven up a room. Even better is the fact that many of the decorating trends are easy to manage and relatively inexpensive.
As well some of the earlier trends of 2011 will fade. This includes the use of prints in creating custom upholstered furniture. As well we will be saying goodbye to those bulky, oversized sofas that seem to swallow you whole when you sit. Instead we will see sofas with sleek designs and lower backs. They will be smaller in size, allowing for them to be grouped together to form conversation areas. Ottomans and footrests that can easily transform into extra seating areas will be a big hit. Dark color wood will be replaced with lighter shades. We will see the use of lighter shades such as walnut, cherry and white oak to replace espresso and dark mahogany.
For decorative touches it is all about textures and fabrics. Try pairing chunky bamboo blinds with metallic woven window treatments. Use throw pillows with modern floral prints and bold rich colors to bring in pops of color. As well some classic materials like herringbone and tweed will make a comeback, while newer ones like faux fur will be the rage.
