Coaching and Motivation
Two of the most important things that a sales manager is tasked to do is to coach and motivate the sales people under his supervision. The sales manager is the one responsible for making sure that each and every sales person under his sales team is working hard to achieve their individual goal, since the sales manager is the leader of this team. However, it is not that easy to do this, especially because not all sales people have the same personalities. Thus, a sales manager needs to learn some sales management coaching and motivation skills to be able to do this effectively.
Being productive is one of the most critical aspects that the sales people need to become in order to become successful. Their contributions to the sales target is very important so that the entire sales team can reach their goal. It is the duty of a sales manager to ensure that the sales people reach their individual goals.
